The monograph Safronov S. N., Nikitin V. D., Labay V. S., Zavarzina N. K. 2024. Cyclostomates and fishes of fresh and oligogalin water of Sakhalin Island became available on the website of the Sakhalin branch of the SSC RF FGBNU VNIRO. The book is dedicated to the memory of Sergei Nikitich Safronov, who left in 2011, is beautifully designed, contains a general deion of the inland water bodies and watercourses of the island, a brief outline of morphology and a deion of cyclostomes and fish (94 species in total), many excellent illustrations and maps.
