Good news came from Sakhalin-Crillon LLC. The second release of Sakhalin taimen juveniles from the Okhotsk hatchery into the Moguchi River in the south of the Crillon Peninsula took place. The yearlings endured the transportation well and not one of the thousand was injured. The process was attended by employees of the Sakhalin branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Glavrybvod," the veterinary service and LLC Sakhalin-Crillon. Of course there is a fairly stable population of the Sakhalin taimen in the river, but according to geneticists, such movements within zoogeographic regions contribute to an increase in the genetic diversity of the population.

The program does not end there, now it is necessary to establish regular monitoring of the number of species in this and other places. Specialists already have such experience, it will be improved and expanded.
