November 7-8, 2017 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk there has taken place the scientific conference "The Current State and the Prospects of Development of Salmon Economy in the Russian Far East". Only just now they sent the collection of materials of this conference. In one of articles placed in the collection there is a mention of Sakhalin taimen: "Salmon poaching in a mirror of social psychology". Unfortunately at a conference the report with such name wasn't heard, and Sakhalin taimen was never mentioned by anybody.

In article holding a public campaign against poaching with a "flag" symbol - Sakhalin taimen is offered. The website "Sakhalin Taimen in 21st Century" created with assistance of LLC Rosneft-Sakhalinmorneftegaz could become the platform for this purpose.
